The paint kit consists of a coloured basecoat and clear coat topcoat. The paints are made from waterborne automotive paints, which are packed in brush cap bottles - ideal for touch-up repairs.
Primer/filler
Depending on the size and type of damage, you might need to use a primer/filler to achieve sufficient adhesion of the paint.
Order primer if any of the following conditions apply:
Thinner
Only if you are planning to apply the paint with an air brush or paint gun (not included) do you have to order thinner to dilute the paint. For normal application, a brush cap bottle is included with the product, helping you to create invisible repairs.
Our step-by-step tutorial will help you achieve the best possible repair. Find it here.
Our aim is to only sell paints so good we would use them on our own bikes. However, if you are unhappy with the product.

Die Farbe passt überhaupt nicht zum Farbton des Rades, denn sie ist viel zu hell. Auch der Klarlack ist nicht so wie er sein sollte, denn trotz tagelangen trocknend lösst er sich stellenweise wieder ab.
The color isn't exactly the same, so you can see a clear difference.
I followed the instructions provided. Unfortunately, when applying the clear coat, it turned the paint a lighter color and made it run. I checked the bottle to make sure it wasn't paint thinner, and it was labeled clear coat. I had to purchase a clear coat from my local auto parts store, which did not make the paint run. Cost me another day to sand and repaint. Do not purchase the clear coat from them.
