Primer/filler
Depending on the size and type of damage, you might need to use a primer/filler to achieve sufficient adhesion of the paint. Order primer if any of the following conditions apply:
- The damaged area is larger than 1 sq cm / 6 sq inch
- The naked frame material is visible through the old paint
- You can feel surface unevenness around the damaged area
